Strange Attractor never was intended to be a popular album, and it was released with very little notice.
Deserter's Songs Imports Clementine Creevy leads a trio through a super fun, hella noisy, slightly surf and punk tinged, indie rock adventure. This one definitely has the 'lovely-yet-slightly-off-kilter' feel of a lot of Mercury Rev's later works with some 'Yello' style electronics added in for flavor. Incident on Abeel Street Everything here is cold and tense, like the surface of a wintry, frozen lake.
Strange Attractor by Mercury Rev. Pure Joie De La Solitude Sustained string effects come in later, the music glitches off for a pause, and then returns with a soft percussion moving it all ahead at a faster rate.

Beloved for its subtlety, wistful filigrees and classically building intensity you'll find it the perfect romantic companion for a night spent home alone! Standout tracks ''Butterfly's Wing'' and ''Senses on Fire'' exhibit the emphasis on letting the music define itself. It has some lovely soundscapes and textures and I find that I always enjoy it every time I hear it, discovering something new each time. Persistence And The Merdury Mellifera 3: Highly recommended to all, especially those that love textured electronic music.

I'm Never Really Here by darvid thor. On the one hand, we have the psychedelic explosions and withdrawn aftershocks from a band of attracor unstable rockers. Very nice, a bit unsettling, and textural. A percussive loop gives an anchor to the sound and guitars and synths create some soft layers of sound and music.
